Grand Light is restoring and modernizing numerous historic interior chandeliers, pendant and ceiling lights from a prominent Ivy League University. The goal of this project was to take the existing luminaires and utilize our LED Advantage Systems to enhance the performance of the fixture while significantly decreasing its energy consumption and maintenance.

Congratulations to Gowanda's Historic Hollywood Theater's restoration and grand reopening! Grand Light is proud to have been chosen to restore all the historic lighting fixtures for this legacy restoration project. The fixtures included floral accented wall sconces, large flower shaped recessed lighting fixtures, pendant lights, ceiling fixtures, and exit signs.
Grand Light's Ryan Stockman was recently published as a featured article in LD+A, the premiere magazine of the Illuminating Engineering Society. The article "Adapting the Past to an LED Future" discusses the processes required for the preservation/restoration of historic lighting fixtures, including luminaire surveys, specification development, modernization, and logistics.
A recent Philadelphia project consisted of an extensive on-site survey, with all existing chandeliers thoroughly photographed and documented, utilizing ladders and our 30' portable lift. These one-of-a-kind, historic 1920s chandeliers were constructed from bronze and featured beautifully hand-painted globe and constellation motifs.
2022 has been a critical step forward in providing greater solutions and support for our clients and community. Grand Light has been extremely fortunate with multiple large-scale legacy projects, expanding our in-house capabilities, and welcoming new team members to our family.
