Grand Light fabricated custom chandelier replications based on a historic photograph for the Senate Chamber at the Massachusetts State House located in Boston, Massachusetts.
Grand Light was selected to design and fabricate a custom, handcrafted steel chandelier that invoked a 21st century interpretation of a 19th century chandelier, for the Charles Washington Hall renovation project located in Charles Town, West Virginia.
Grand Light was selected to create custom replications of a chandelier, wall sconce, and torchiere that is original to the building. In order to accurately replicate the intricate metalwork and detailing of each fixture, new custom molds will be cast using the lost wax method of replication.
Grand Light was selected to retrofit historic interior pendant lights and semi-flush mount lighting fixtures with custom energy efficient LED technology kits for St Peter's Church located in Plattsburgh, New York.
Grand Light designed and manufactured custom pendant lights replicating the style of an existing interior historic fixture for the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist. The pendants were constructed with aluminum and include six custom acrylic panels fitted by Grand Light technicians to each custom pendant.
Grand Light designed and fabricated thirty cast iron custom lanterns replicating the style of existing exterior lanterns. Each custom lantern received a statuary base coat before an application of black finish and multiple coats of UV resistant protective lacquer top coat.
Grand Light was selected fabricate replications of a historic wall sconce based on a 1910 photograph for the Wadsworth Atheneum. The original 1910 photograph was used to scrupulously design the details and dimensions to match the original fixture.
