First Baptist Church Pleasanton Texas Historic Exterior Lantern Lighting Restoration 

First Baptist Church

Grand Light was selected to restore several historic lantern lighting fixtures located on the exterior facade of the First Baptist Church located in Pleasanton, Texas.
 

New Haven Courthouse – Lanterns

Grand Light was selected to restore the massive front entry lanterns to their original glory. These massive cast bronze fixtures are 65″ tall and 30″ wide and are estimated to weigh 400 pounds each when fully assembled. Grand Light created a special custom recipe to replicate the original red rust hot patina finish.
 

Harvard University – Winthrop House – Standish Hall

Harvard University's Standish Hall is one of two historical Neo-Georgian buildings that make up Winthrop House. Grand Light is restoring the original interior chandeliers and exterior lighting fixtures from the historic Standish Hall.
 

Massachusetts Institute of Technology – Kresge Auditorium

Grand Light is restoring sixty-seven historic exterior downlights from MIT Kresge Auditorium. The fixtures will be cleaned and media blasted to remove the existing finish in preparation for a black matte powder coat finish application. Corroded metal will be repaired/replaced to match existing components.
 

Harvard University – Winthrop House – Gore Hall

Harvard University's Gore Hall is one of two historical Neo-Georgian buildings that make up Winthrop House. Grand Light is restoring the original interior chandeliers and exterior lighting fixtures from the historic Gore Hall.
 

United States Military Academy (West Point) – MacArthur Short Barracks

Grand Light was selected to restore the eleven original Exterior Lanterns at the West Point MacArthur Short Barracks. Fixtures required major structural repair, replication of missing components, and much patina blending to give the fixtures a consist luster.
 

Cathedral of St. John the Baptist

Grand Light has been selected to restore numerous historical fixtures including chandeliers, lanterns, wall sconces, stoups, and pendant lights. Lighting restoration specialist traveled to Paterson, NJ to pack and deliver these historic fixtures to Grand Light's restoration and custom lighting manufacturing factory in Seymour, CT.
 

Bodie Island Lighthouse

Grand Light restored several interior luminaires as well as three luminaires from the nearby Oil House for the of the historic Bodie Island Lighthouse in Nags Head, NC. Each luminaire was refinished and installed with new water-tight custom laser-cut gaskets and rebuilt rare porcelain sockets.
