Project Info
Project Description
Located in Meriden, Connecticut on a 8.6 acre campus, the Bradley Home was built in legacy of the late Clarence Bradley, a benefactor of the City of Meriden, who saw a need to provide senior citizens with permanent housing for those that were not able to save enough for retirement. This facility, built in 1938, offers state-of-the-art residential care that provides its residence comforting and dignified care into the waning years of life. The campus includes the Bradley carriage house, currently used as a children’s daycare center, and two levels of licensed care including Residential Care and a Skilled Nursing Unit.
Grand Light was selected to retrofit 115 interior hall lightolier semi-flush mount fixtures with a custom LED Enlux downlight technology kit. Each fixture had its existing 13w CFL lamps re-positioned along with fabricated LED mounting brackets, a modified Enlux kit, and LED generators configured to existing fixture frame. By upgrading to modern LED technology, the Bradley Home has energy efficient, longer lasting, durable, and ecologically friendly lighting.
