Project Description

The East Clinton Street Bridge, located in Binghamton, New York, is an open-spandrel arch bridge over Chenango River that connects Downtown Binghamton to the City’s West Side and First Ward neighborhoods. The bridge, constructed in 1936 and one of the oldest bridges in the city, is undergoing a $1.9 million rehabilitation project that will include the restoration of the bridge’s existing decorative arches and lighting fixtures.

Grand Light has been selected to restore and refinish the bridge’s historic exterior lanterns. Custom curved acrylic panels will be cut and bent to match missing or damaged existing panels. All wiring was replaced with UL listed components and HIPOT tested in accordance with UL standard 1598.
