Project Description

West & Main will feature 3,400 square feet of state of the art event space, and a two level bar and restaurant – Hook & Ladder, built in the 146 year old restored fire house, once home to the Washington Fire Company. A 146-year-old historic firehouse will be reimagined as the entrance to Hotel West & Main and will house two distinct dining experiences. A first-floor casual dining restaurant will be called 1874 Social, honoring the year the fire company formed on the site, just three years after two downtown fires nearly destroyed the Conshohocken business district. The firehouse, which was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1975, also inspired the second-floor gastropub experience, Hook & Ladder.
