The landmark Mary Baker Eddy Historic House was built circa 1880 and designed by the prestigious Boston firm of Peabody and Stearns. Located at 400 Beacon St, Chestnut Hill, MA, the property was purchased by Mary Baker Eddy, the founder of Christian Science, in 1907 when extensive remodeling was done under the supervision of Chicago architect Solon S. Beman. The property was added to the National Register of Historic Places on September 4, 1986.
A majority of the fixtures require custom modification of the existing gas components to accommodate new UL listed components, and test in accordance with UL 1598 standards.
