Project Description

Located in Northampton, Massachusetts, Smith College is a distinguished, private, liberal arts college committed to providing the highest quality undergraduate education for women.

Constructed between 1937 and 1939, the Alumnae House at Smith College was designed by Frederick J. Woodbridge of the New York firm Evans, Moore and Woodbridge. The Georgian, Classical Revival and Art Modern style building houses Alumnae Association offices and offers a variety of event and social gathering spaces.
