Yellowstone National Park – Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel

Grand Light is restoring numerous highly decorative and historic pottery ceiling lights from the historic Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel in Yellowstone National Park. These fixtures will undergo several different restoration techniques including removal of the existing finish and refinishing.
 

EF International Language Campus New York

Grand Light has been selected to restore the chandeliers, ceiling & pendant lights from EF New York International Language Campus.
 

Immaculate Heart Of Mary

Grand Light restored numerous pendant lights and wall sconces from the Immaculate Heart Of Mary Church located in Brooklyn, New York. The existing finish was removed via media blast and refinished with a satin black finish and multiple applications of UV resistant top coat.
 

Woburn Public Library

Grand Light is restoring historic chandeliers, ceiling lights, and wall sconces from a National Historic Landmark, the Woburn Public Library located in Woburn, Massachusetts.
 

Marriott Syracuse Downtown

Grand Light is restoring the original interior chandeliers, plaster wall sconces, and flush mounts from the historic Marriott Syracuse Downtown. This project will involve a wide range of restoration techniques, including conservation of the existing finishes, complete refinishing, and the cleaning, hand polishing, and repair of crystal components.
 

Yale University – Sterling Memorial Library Manuscripts & Archives

Grand Light is restoring large bronze pendant light and ceiling mount historic interior lighting fixtures from Yale University's Sterling Memorial Library Manuscripts & Archives located in New Haven, Connecticut.
 

1001 Fifth Avenue

Grand Light restored large exterior lanterns from the facade of 1001 Fifth Avenue, located in the heart of New York City's famous “Museum Mile". These lanterns required extensive cleaning along with significant glass repair which included the reinforcement of weak copper foil, solder, and antique to blend with existing.
 

Saints Aedan & Brendan Church

Grand Light restored interior pendants, ceiling lights, and wall sconces. Each fixture was ultrasonically and hand cleaned to remove excess corrosion and multiple applications of museum grade, UV resistant clear metal wax was applied to conserve the existing finish.
Dunster House 

Harvard University – Dunster House

Grand Light was selected to restore the original interior chandeliers and pendant, and the exterior sconce and post top for the Dunster House. Some fixtures required sand blasting to remove old coats before multiple applications of a beautiful powder coat finish was applied.
 

Internal Revenue Service Building

Grand Light was selected to restore the original exterior lanterns located on the IRS Headquarters. Each lantern was mechanically repaired, any missing parts were replicated by using the existing as models and each component was bead blasted and refinished.
