Woburn Public Library

Grand Light is restoring historic chandeliers, ceiling lights, and wall sconces from a National Historic Landmark, the Woburn Public Library located in Woburn, Massachusetts.
 

Saenger Theatre

Grand Light was selected for restoration of the large chandelier which is showcased at the center of the Saenger Theater in Mobile Alabama. This 8 feet tall chandelier has three steel frames with over 10,000 faceted crystal graduated chains with an Initial inspection discovering an excess of 125 mechanical failures within the crystal support frames to be corrected.
 

Wadsworth Atheneum

Grand Light was selected to restore several historic fixtures for the Wadsworth Atheneum. The restoration of these historic fixtures included cleaning all dust and surface corrosion, lightly burnish and blend to existing patina, and the application of museum grade wax.
 

Massachusetts Institute of Technology – Kresge Auditorium

Grand Light is restoring sixty-seven historic exterior downlights from MIT Kresge Auditorium. The fixtures will be cleaned and media blasted to remove the existing finish in preparation for a black matte powder coat finish application. Corroded metal will be repaired/replaced to match existing components.
 

Lincoln Square Theatre

Grand Light restored historic eight-light pendants for the Lincoln Square Theatre in Decatur, IL. A team of artisans worked to artfully refurbish the pieces to look consistent with complementary fixtures on the site.
 

Lionheart Gallery

Grand Light was selected to clean and conserve three large outdoor lanterns from the Lionheart Art Gallery in Pound Ridge, New York. Two identical wall mounted lanterns were cleaned, had glass replaced and a finial replacement, while a third lantern was completely reconstructed.
 

New Haven Museum

Grand Light was selected to restore two large Bohemian crystal chandeliers from the New Haven Museum and Historical Society which required mechanical repair, rewiring, polishing, crystal replacement and all missing components were fabricated to closely match the originals.
 

Gowanda’s Historic Hollywood Theater

Grand Light was selected to restore the theater’s light fixtures. Among the fixtures are 12 floral accented wall sconces, 5 large flower shaped recessed lighting, more than twenty pendant lights of different sizes, and 13 exit signs.
