Grand Light Receives Excellence In Historic Preservation Award
Grand Light's Vice President Ryan Stockman received a certificate awarded by New York State Preservation League for 2017 Excellence in Historic Preservation for the Hotel Syracuse Restoration project. The award recognizes the project for its excellence in restoration design and construction.
Historic Exterior Lanterns Removed From West Point
Grand Light was selected by Ducci Electrical Contractor to restore large historic exterior lanterns located along the Pershing Barracks facade. Utilizing a lull forklift and ladders, Grand Light's onsite specialists successfully removed the historic exterior lanterns for transportation to Grand Light's lighting restoration factory.
Yale’s Custom Chandeliers Installed
Grand Light was selected by Atelier Ten, David Thompson Architects, and the Dean of Yale Divinity School to design and manufacture custom lighting fixtures. This project included the replication of existing historic iron and brass chandeliers, various custom multi-tiered crystal chandeliers, a massive brass and crystal chandelier, and numerous custom handcrafted pendant lights.
