This project consists of the renovation and restoration of the existing United States Military Academy (West Point) Eisenhower Barracks historic exterior lanterns, ceiling lights, and wall sconces.
Grand Light was selected to design and manufacture several custom lighting fixtures for Yale Divinity School including the replication of existing historic iron and brass chandeliers, various custom multi-tiered crystal chandeliers, a massive brass and crystal chandelier, and numerous custom handcrafted pendant lights.
Grand Light fabricated custom chandelier replications based on a historic photograph for the Senate Chamber at the Massachusetts State House located in Boston, Massachusetts.
Grand Light was selected to design and fabricate a custom, handcrafted steel chandelier that invoked a 21st century interpretation of a 19th century chandelier, for the Charles Washington Hall renovation project located in Charles Town, West Virginia.
Grand Light was selected to design and fabricate lanterns that compliment the surroundings, illuminate the entry gates, and remain true to the ambiance created by the existing architecture of Yale University's Silliman College.
Grand Light was selected to manufacture several custom designed outdoor lighting fixtures which were installed on poles throughout the downtown section of the town.
Grand Light custom manufactured 25 ceiling lighting fixtures, 13 wall sconces and 41 pendant lighting fixtures of varying lengths. This style fixture has been custom designed for use in the library in other locations, and with a recent addition to the building, more pieces were needed.
As a part of a renovation, Grand Light was selected to replicate eight sconces that were original to the building for an addition during this phase. A total of eight historic replications were made using bronze and hand forged iron.
Grand Light fabricated twelve custom fixtures that were retrofitted to existing cylinders in the Great Hall of Flags at the State House. The challenge was presented to the Grand Light team to fabricate seamless cylindrical tube that will be retrofitted to the existing fixture.
Grand Light replicated a wrought iron and cast bronze fixture and created custom cut glass globes to replace existing plastic globes through out the building. Grand Light replicated thirteen fixtures in total which matched the original fixtures that we said to have been manufactured by Samuel Yellen.
