West Point Barracks “Revolutionary” Restoration
Grand Light restored numerous historic exterior lanterns and ceiling lights from the United States Military Academy (West Point) renovation project. Each lantern was walnut blasted to clean and conserve the existing verde green patina finish, and in areas of significant finish failure, re-patination of components or finish blending was required.

These beautiful lanterns were restored using a plethora of restoration techniques including surface preparation, application of rich epoxy primer, and an exterior architectural semi gloss black powder finish.

Utilizing a lull forklift and ladders, Grand Light's onsite specialists successfully removed the historic exterior lanterns for transportation to Grand Light's lighting restoration factory.
Historic Exterior Lighting & Street Clock Removed From New London Landmark
Grand Light's restoration team came fully prepared to disassemble and remove the historic standards and clock utilizing a combination of a lull forklift, portable power-lifts, ladders, and muscle, without causing any disruption to the daily activities of the city hall.
