Phillips Exeter Academy – Phillips Hall

Grand Light restored interior and exterior historic luminaries for Phillips Exeter Academy in Exeter, NH. All of these fixtures were cleaned and the original finishes were conserved. All of the fixtures received repairs to mechanical defects and were rewired to UL standards utilizing modern lamping technologies.

Dartmouth College – Sanborn Library

Grand Light was selected to restore the original chandeliers and wall sconces that are on the second floor of the library. They are all made of wood and are covered with ornate resin filigrees. Many of the original filigree details were broken and missing which required Grand Light artisans replicated each and every piece.

Orford Congregational Church

After the ceiling of the the Orford Congregational Church collapsed, Grand Light was selected to restore an original Gothic revival style gas dodecagon chandelier from the mid 1800's. The chandelier needed to reproduce the same effect as the original gas chandelier with one exception, this time the chandelier would use electricity.
