Grand Light Fabricating Custom Library Lights and Pendants for Private Residence

New Haven, CT – After coming across a picture of some custom library lighting fixtures that Grand Light had fabricated for Yale University, an alumni of Yale requested that similar fixtures be fabricated for his home.

This lead to some additional work, including the restoration and modification of two pulley pendant fixtures from the home and the fabrication of several matching pendants. To date all components have been fabricated for the library fixtures and will soon be given an oil rubbed bronze finish before being assembled and wired and tested in accordance with UL standards. The original shades from the pulley pendants have been sandblasted to strip the original finish in preparation for the new oil rubbed bronze finish. The shades will be rewired with newly fabricated canopies.
