From Inspiration To Installation: Custom Lighting For Any Application
Grand Light has created custom lighting fixtures of every style and for every application. From ideation to fabrication, our team is comprised of professionals whose mission is to create or re-create lighting fixtures of the utmost quality and authenticity.
Recently, the Grand Light team has been busy designing a variety of custom lighting projects. A prominent Ivy League renovation project required the fabrication of twenty-four brass chandeliers, sconces, and ceiling lights, including this impressive fixture.
Grand Light engineers worked to draft a drawing and 3D rendering of the proposed fixture to be sent to the client for approval prior to mock-ups. These photorealistic rendering capabilities can help elevate a commercial lighting project’s vision by best representing the final fixture from all perspectives.
After fabrication, the raw brass components were completed with a beautiful oil-rubbed bronze finish and new opal glass globes. The installed 24-foot long fixture adds an impressive appeal to the property and will be enjoyed by many for decades to come!

Grand Light’s custom lighting capabilities include the highest quality, historically accurate replications or reproductions of existing or documented historical lighting fixtures of every style, of varying sizes, and for every application.
Grand Light was recently selected for the restoration and custom replication of numerous existing exterior iron lanterns for use at a prominent Ivy League University.
A close attention to detail was required for our metalworkers to accurately recreate the intricate detailing and elaborate scroll aesthetics of the original lanterns. The new fixtures’ finishes were matched with the restored lanterns, receiving a new satin black finish on all iron components. New frosted seedy glass panels were custom cut and installed in both the restored and replicated lanterns.

Grand Light recently fabricated a custom lantern for a private client’s coastal estate. Prior to fabrication of raw brass components, Grand Light engineers worked hand-in-hand with our client to guarantee all details were faithfully executed to specification and exceeded the projects vision.
Once approved, all fabricated raw brass components were given a custom oil-rubbed bronze, hand burnished patina finish. The lanterns then received multiple applications of a protective UV resistant lacquer top coat.
