Grand Light Receives Award During Annual Construction Banquet

Grand Light recently attended the Associated Builders and Contractors of Connecticut annual 2017 Excellence in Construction Awards. Over the years, this has become CT ABC’s marquee networking event and a must attend for those involved in the commercial construction industry. During the banquet, Grand Light had the honor of receiving an Award of Merit for Historic Restoration/Renovation for the New Haven Courthouse project.

Associated Builders and Contractors of Connecticut invited members to enter their best projects in the annual Excellence in Construction Awards competition. The Excellence in Construction and Merit Award winners are projects submitted to this annual competition and judged by an independent panel of judges which include architects, engineers and university professionals. Project submittals must adhere to rigorous application requirements for consideration of the year’s top honors. Contractors must not only demonstrate outstanding quality in construction and references from the project owner, but also rigorous safety performance.
