History Restored At Yale University

Grand Light partnered with All-Brite Electric, Inc, Standard Builders, Apicella + Bunton Architects LLC, and Cline Bettridge Bernstein Lighting Design Inc. for the restoration of the Yale University’s Sterling Memorial Library Manuscripts & Archives historic interior lighting fixtures.

This project included the restoration and custom modification of about fifty large bronze pendant lights and ceiling mounts.

The restored historic pendant lights look absolutely stunning reinstalled in the newly renovated library during the recent ribbon cutting ceremony!

This massive restored historic pendant light, previously used to illuminate such literary works of Charles Lindbergh, Eero Saarinen, Eli Whitney, and the Gutenberg Bible, was modified with custom LED downlights for drastically improved floor light levels.
