Restoration Project Honored At Boston Preservation Awards
Grand Light, along with the Project Team, were honored by the Boston Preservation Alliance, a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting and preserving historic Boston, at the 31st Annual Preservation Achievement Awards.
The Massachusetts State House Senate Chamber renovation project, which involved preserving the historic space while updating it to accommodate modern needs, received both a 2019 Preservation Award and the coveted Fan Favorite Award.
Grand Light’s contribution involved restoring the gigantic, 30′ tall chandelier, numerous wall sconces, and a set of beautiful torchieres on the Senate Chambers podium while also designing and manufacturing numerous custom chandeliers.
